Google Simplifies Ad Rotation In AdWords
Google has simplified the ad rotation settings for AdWords, reducing it to just two options:
1) optimise for best performing PPC adverts, or 2) rotate indefinitely.
Machine Learning Technology
The new ad rotation is powered by Google's machine learning technology, which identifies the PPC adverts that are expected to perform best from previous performance.
Several Ad Variations
The new setting will "optimise your ads for clicks in each individual PPC auction, using signals like keyword, search term, device, location and more". Google advises creating at least three ad variations per ad group for the machine learning technology to perform best.
